Must-See at Electric Castle 2025: Justin Timberlake, Queens of The Stone Age, Justice, Bicep, and Many More Artists

Five Days, Hundreds of Unique Musical Experiences: Electric Castle Announces the First Wave of Artists for 2025

Justin Timberlake, Queens of The Stone Age, Justice, BICEP, Shaggy, and Netsky b2b NGHTMRE headline the festival’s lineup. Passes for the event, taking place July 16-20, are available in limited quantities at electriccastle.ro.

With top-tier music and production, Electric Castle promises one of the most anticipated concerts of 2025. American superstar Justin Timberlake will deliver a flawless show in Romania, exclusively at Electric Castle. One of the best-selling pop artists of all time, Timberlake has sold over 54 million albums and 63 million singles as a solo artist, in addition to 70 million albums with NSYNC. His success extends beyond performing, as he’s also an acclaimed songwriter and producer for other megastars. Hits like “Selfish” and “No Angels” from his new album will be performed live, alongside record-breaking classics such as “Cry Me a River” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling.”

Queens of The Stone Age keep their promise to perform at Electric Castle after a last-minute delay this past summer. Josh Homme, the legendary rock star leading the band since its inception, has overcome health issues and is ready to unleash stoner rock on the main stage. With nine Grammy nominations, Queens of The Stone Age are a must-see live rock band, marking their first performance in Romania at Electric Castle.

Justice, one of the most respected electronic acts of the past two decades, made a spectacular comeback in 2024. At Electric Castle, they’ll present their show based on the Hyperdrama album, featuring collaborations with Tame Impala, Thundercat, and Miguel. True fans have been with them since their debut album, The Cross, which showed how perfectly rock influences blend into electronic music—a mix later validated by their two Grammy Awards.

Iconic for a generation of ravers, BICEP brings their most ambitious project yet, Chroma, AV/DJ set, to the castle. Featuring a comprehensive showcase of their hits paired with stunning visuals, BICEP is currently among the most sought-after names in techno and acid. To represent all major electronic genres, Electric Castle also announces Netsky b2b NGHTMRE, a perfect blend of dance and drum and bass; Hot Since 82, the renowned British producer crafting inspired deep house and tech house sets; and Sofi Tukker, the German duo infusing Brazilian music with house vibes.

Reggae superstar Shaggy’s concert promises the perfect nostalgia trip for those who sang along to It Wasn’t Me in the ’90s and a fresh discovery for younger fans who’ve seen his tracks go viral on social media. Despite winning dozens of awards and selling millions of records, Mr. Boombastic remains a modest and charismatic artist eager to share positive energy with the Electric Castle audience.

When Billie Eilish and Missy Elliott call themselves your fans, international success is almost guaranteed—and well-deserved in the case of Noga Erez. The artist returns to the festival after two years of skyrocketing fame, earning her a spot on the main stage. Meanwhile, Neil Frances brings their first Electric Castle show featuring Club FN, a project reimagining their iconic tracks like DumbLove and Dancing.

Electric Castle offers a wide spectrum of rock. After 20 years of revolutionizing punk, Refused is embarking on a farewell tour, with one of their concerts set for Bonțida. Leprous, on the other hand, continues to rise with a new album confirming their unique status in progressive rock, which they’ll perform live on the Hangar stage. Sharing the Hangar stage, The Amazons bring a fresh and laid-back vibe to indie rock. Finally, The Sisters of Mercy, a gothic rock legend, will grace Bonțida with their signature sound, dark atmosphere, and selections from the iconic Floodland album.

Other notable acts include ÂME, Joey Valence & Brae, Nilüfer Yanya, Sparrow and Barbossa, Romare, Bon Entendeur, and a special night under Hospital Records featuring Kings of the Rollers, Urbandawn, and Unglued, among many more artists rounding out Electric Castle 2025’s first lineup announcement.

Passes for Electric Castle 2025 are available starting at €159 + taxes at www.electriccastle.ro or as part of special Christmas packages. For those seeking a 24/7 festival experience, camping accommodation options start at €15/night in pre-pitched tents.
